I like when people say things like "Coming to your house is like visiting my grandmother." Because that is exactly how I like to feel when I walk into my house. I want to feel warm and fuzzy and totally welcome, comfortable and safe in familiar surroundings. I also like using things that are already around and have stories behind them, which are unique and have been part of other people's lives, rather than something brand-new, and i like giving away stuff.

I also love pretty, delicate things, and things that are handmade. This section is a combination of both.

Basically I take found, cheap or recyclable objects and decorate them with vintage printouts or wallpaper. I use clear packing tape or glue to attach the paper. The same thing could be done with vintage contact paper, shelf paper, or fabric (although fabric gets tricky)

Found/reusable objects: Mint tins, soup cans, coffee cans
